The 1918 Maryland State Aggies football team represented Maryland State College (which in 1920 became part of the University of Maryland) in the 1918 college football season. In their eighth season under head coach Curley Byrd, the Aggies compiled a 4–1–1 record, and outscored all opponents, 57 to 35. The team lost its season opener against the Chemical Warfare Service (6–13), defeated VMI (7–6), McDaniel College (19–14), NYU (6–2), and St. John's College (19–14), and ended the season with a scoreless tie against Johns Hopkins (0–0).[1][2][3]
