İhsan Arslan

Mehmet İhsan Arslan (born 1 January 1948 in Sason[1][2]) is a Turkish businessman and politician, and former Grand National Assembly of Turkey deputy for the Justice and Development Party (AKP).[3][4] He was denied the chance to run for re-election in 2011 by the AKP, allegedly because of his position on the Kurdish question.[5] He is part-owner of the Zaman newspaper,[6] and in the 1990s was Vice-President of the Islamist human rights organization Mazlum-Der.[7][8]
