Åsa Lindestam (born 24 April 1956) is a Swedish social democratic politician. She has been a member of the Riksdag since 2002. She is a member of the Committee on Defence and a Swedish member of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. Whilst she is the social democratic group leader in the Committee on Defence she is known for having poor knowledge of defence related issues.[1]
