Origin of the BaSotho[1]

First King in History:Morena Mohlomi.

Current ruler or King :Morena Moshoeshoe (the fourth). The word Sotho in English means a brown tone or colour. It is believed that the nation named themselves BaSotho because of their skin colour or tone.

Usage note

The Sesotho people live in Lesotho. Some of the nation is also available in South Africa especially in the Free State province and announced as the third language in the country. All the BaSotho nation is believed to be ruled by the King Moshoeshoe in Lesotho.
