Thomas Howard

This is the first of two hands within the Devonshire Manuscript identified as that of Thomas Howard. Lord Thomas Howard (c.1512–1537), not to be confused with his father Thomas Howard, the second duke of Norfolk, or his elder half-brother Thomas Howard, the third duke of Norfolk, was a courtier during Queen Anne's reign. He was part of the Howard family group at court. See his full biography and contributions to the manuscript here.
