History
The Energy Efficiency Reference (EER) is an open and collaborative project that was created in 2008 at the Oregon State University Industrial Assessment Center. The overarching goal of the EER is to be a central reference for everything related to energy efficiency, specifically how to assess and implement energy efficiency projects.
From its inception, it was realized that to be successful, the EER would need to draw from the extensive experience of individuals from geographically dispersed locations. Because of this, the original developers have opted to use an open and collaborative approach to development by utilizing WikiBooks.
