- A brownish-red or brownish-green tincture prepared from Herba Belladonnae. It is used in traditional Chinese medicine and acts as an antispasmodic agent for smooth muscle, in the treatment of peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer, colicky pain in the gastric-intestinal tract, kidney and biliary tract.
