მატური

Georgian

Etymology

From Armenian մատուռ (matuṙ), from Ancient Greek μαρτύριον (martúrion, shrine of a martyr). Direct borrowing from Ancient Greek would have yielded Georgian *მარტული (*marṭuli).

Noun

მატური (maṭuri)
