From the root و ص ي (w-ṣ-y). Related to the Hebrew root צ־ו־ה (ṣ-w-) through metathesis of the first two root consonants, specifically מצווה \ מִצְוָה (miṣwā).

      وَإِن كَانَ رَجُلٌۭ يُورَثُ كَلَلَةً أَوِ ٱمْرَأَةٌۭ وَلَهُۥٓ أَخٌ أَوْ أُخْتٌۭ فَلِكُلِّ وَحِدٍۢ مِّنْهُمَا ٱلسُّدُسُ ۚ فَإِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَكْثَرَ مِن ذَ ٰلِكَ فَهُمْ شُرَكَآءُ فِى ٱلثُّلُثِ ۚ مِنۢ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍۢ يُوصَىٰ بِهَآ أَوْ دَيْنٍ غَيْرَ مُضَآرٍّ
      waʾin kāna rajulun yūraṯu kalalatan ʾaw-i mraʾatum walahu ʾaḵun ʾaw ʾuḵtum falikulli waḥidim minhuma s-sudusu faʾin kānū ʾakṯara min ḏālika fahum šurakāʾu fi ṯ-ṯuluṯi mim baʿdi waṣiyyatin yūṣā bihā ʾaw daynin ḡayra muḍārrin
      And if a man or woman leaves neither ascendants nor descendants but has a brother or a sister, then for each one of them is a sixth. But if they are more than two, they share a third, after any bequest which was made or debt, as long as there is no detriment [caused].

      waṣiyyatam mina l-lāhi wal-lāhu ʿalīmun ḥalīmun
      [This is] an ordinance from Allah, and Allah is Knowing and Forbearing.

      فَقَالَ: «إِنْ كُنْتَ تَسْمَعُ لِصَوْتِ الرَّبِّ إِلٰهِكَ، وَتَصْنَعُ الْحَقَّ فِي عَيْنَيْهِ، وَتَصْغَى إِلَى وَصَايَاهُ وَتَحْفَظُ جَمِيعَ فَرَائِضِهِ، فَمَرَضًا مَا مِمَّا وَضَعْتُهُ عَلَى الْمِصْرِيِّينَ لَا أَضَعُ عَلَيْكَ. فَإِنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ شَافِيكَ».
      faqāla: “ʾin kunta tasmaʿu liṣawti r-rabbi ʾilāhika, wataṣnaʿu l-ḥaqqa fī ʿaynayhi, wataṣḡā ʾilā waṣāyāhu wataḥfaẓu jamīʿa farāʾiḍihi, famaraḍan mā mimmā waḍaʿtuhu ʿalā l-miṣriyyīna lā ʾaḍaʿu ʿalayka. faʾinnī ʾanā r-rabbu šāfīka”.
      And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
