תְּנַאי • (t'nái) m (plural indefinite תְּנָאִים, singular construct תְּנַאי־, plural construct תְּנַאֵי־)
- (logic) A condition, an antecedent: the first half of a conditional statement, on which the consequent depends.
- A condition (to an agreement): a proviso, a requirement, a prerequisite.
