רַהַב • (ráhav) m [pattern: קֶטֶל]

1. (mythology) Rahab, a sea monster in Levantine mythology similar to Tannin and Leviathan

     Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; Awake as in the days of old, the generations of long ago. Was it not You who cut Rahab in pieces, Who pierced the dragon?

2. (astronomy) Neptune (planet).

• "רהב" is a native Hebrew name introduced by the Academy of the Hebrew Language in 2009[1]. The borrowed name נפטון‎ (néptun) is still more commonly used.
