נִפְטַר • (niftár) (nif'al construction)
- To pass away, to pass on: a polite way to refer to a death by natural causes.
- To dispose of, to get rid of; construed with מ־ (mi-).
- אני מנסה להיפטר מזה. — aní m'nasé/m'nasá l'hipatér mizé. — I'm trying to get rid of this.
