  1. to commit adultery
    • Deuteronomy 5:17, with translation of the Jewish Publication Society:
      לֹא תִרְצַח וְלֹא תִנְאָף וְלֹא תִגְנֹב וְלֹא תַעֲנֶה בְרֵעֲךָ עֵד שָׁוְא׃
      Thou shalt not murder. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
