From յատակ (yatak) + -ա- (-a-) + բաց (bacʿ).

    • 9th century, Nonnus of Nisibis, Meknutʿiwn Yovhannu awetaranin [Commentary on the Gospel of John] :
      Ծովն անդնդային բաժանեալ յատակաբաց՝ կազմէր շաւիղս ժողովրդեանն․
      Covn andndayin bažaneal yatakabacʿ, kazmēr šawiłs žołovrdeann;
