կթեմ (ktʿem)  (aorist indicative կթեցի)

  1. to milk (an animal)
    կթել զկովնktʿel zkovnto milk the cow
    ի քարէ կաթն կթելi kʿarē katʿn ktʿelto skin a flint
  2. to gather, to reap, to get in, to harvest, to get in the harvest, to collect the fruits
    կթել զայգիktʿel zaygito gather the grapes
  3. (post-classical) to win at play
