եզն

From Proto-Indo-European *h₁eǵʰ-; cognate with Sanskrit अही (ahī́, “cow, female of an animal”), Avestan 𐬀𐬰𐬍‎ (azī, “milking of cows and mares”) and perhaps Old Irish ag (“cow, cattle”). In Martirosyan's view, the protoform for the Armenian may be reconstructed as *h₁eǵʰ-ih₂-m, a frozen accusative.
