кымырдаҕас
Yakut
Etymology
From Proto-Turkic *kumursga (“ant”). Cognate with Old Turkic 𐰴𐰆𐰢𐰆𐰺𐰽𐰍𐰀 (qumursɣa, “ant”).
From a deminutive *qïmïrtqa-č with an earlier change of s into t common in clusters and a later epenthesis to break up a difficult cluster.
