аав
Mongolian
Etymology
From Proto-Mongolic *aba (reconstruction uncertain), compare Buryat аба (aba), Kalmyk аав (aav), Dongxiang aba, awi, East Yugur awa, Mongghul aaba, Khitan [script needed] (ay).
The word, if it should be reconstructed at all, is similar to other nursery words denoting 'father' found world-wide.
Compare Proto-Turkic *apa (“ancestor, bear”), Korean 아버지 (abeoji, “father”), English baba.
