Etymology
From Proto-Albanian *dzulā, a zero-grade derivative of Proto-Indo-European *ǵʰewH- (“to call”). Cognate to Sanskrit हवते (hávate, “to call, invoke”), Avestan 𐬰𐬀𐬎𐬎𐬀𐬌𐬙𐬌 (zauuaiti) and Old Church Slavonic зъвати (zŭvati)[1].
