zburãscu

Aromanian

Etymology

Uncertain. Probably from a Common Slavic *s(o)boru ("gathering, meeting"), zboruvati or Bulgarian. Compare збор. Not related to Daco-Romanian zbura ("to fly"); the cognate to that word in Aromanian is azboair, azburare. Possibly related indirectly to Romanian sporovăi (to talk much).
