nepateicīgums m (1st declension)

1. ingratitude (the feeling or attitude of one who is ungrateful; behavior with expresses this feeling or attitude)

   par vislielāko apvainojumu Taizemē uzskata nepateicīgumu ― the greatest offense in Thailand is considered to be ingratitude

2. (of actions, activities, jobs) thanklessness, unrewardingness (the quality or state of that which is thankless, unrewarding, does not justify the time and resources spent on it)

   ar nepateicīgumu es saprotu to, ka darba augļi nav redzami uzreiz, tu sēj sēklu, kura nobriest, izaug, nes augļus pati ar savu ― by unrewardingness I understand the fact that the fruits of (one's) work are not immediately visible

3. inappropriateness, unfavorableness (the quality of that which is not appropriate, not favorable, not conducive to a desired state or situation)
