Etymology
From an unattested singular form *käryā-, from Proto-Tocharian *käryā-, from Proto-Indo-European *kṛd(i)yeh₂-, from *ḱḗr, whence also English heart and Old Irish cride. Compare Tocharian A kri (“will”).
Usage notes
The usual - word for heart is arañce; käryāñ appears to be an archaism attested in only one passage.
