Usage notes
- Emphatic reflexive pronouns are used for extra emphasis where they are not grammatically required:
- elle l'a vu ― she saw it
- elle l'a vu elle-même ― she saw it herself
- eux-mêmes is used for groups of all males or mixed gender groups, including nouns which are grammatically masculine
