From the Chinese Tibetan pinyin for Tibetan ཇོ་མོ་གླང་མ (jo mo glang ma), from ཇོ་མོ (jo mo, “goddess”) + ?, translated as "Mother of the Universe" or "Goddess Mother of the Snows".
