Production

  • This two-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
    1. Posture the dominant hand in the “open A” handshape at the dominant side of the forehead, near the temple.
    2. Move the dominant hand down to the following posture.
    3. Posture the nondominant hand in the “open A” handshape in front of the center of the chest, thumb of the nondominant hand pointing across the body toward the dominant side (contralaterally). Posture the dominant hand in the “open A” handshape with the dominant hand at the back of the thumb of the nondominant hand, thumb of the dominant hand pointing across the body toward the nondominant side (contralaterally).
