Wouter Sybrandy

Wouter Sybrandy (20 februari 1985) is een voormalig Nederlands professioneel wielrenner. Sybrandy reed meest recent voor het Nuun-Sigma Sport-London team. Daarvoor reed hij voor Team IG-Sigma Sport.[1]

Biografie

Sybrandy groeide op in Nederland maar bracht zijn volledige fietscarrière door in het Verenigd Koninkrijk.[2] Ondanks zijn Nederlandse nationaliteit werd hij in 2008 tweede in de British National Time Trial Championships na Michael Hutchinson.[3] In 2012 crashte Sybrandy tijdens de laatste etappe van de Tour of Britain. Hij hield hier breuken aan zijn jukbeen, oogkas en drie onderste rugwervels aan over.[4] Toen Team IG-Sigma Sport aan het eind van het wielerseizoen in 2013 stopte, besloot Sybrandy weer full-time te gaan werken terwijl hij doorfietste met steun van Sigma Sport, de sponsor van zijn oude team.[5] In 2015 was Sybrandy kopman voor zijn team Nuun-Sigma Sport-London.[6]
