Tony Brooks (coureur)
Charles Anthony Standish Brooks (Dukinfield, Cheshire, 25 februari 1932) is een voormalig Brits Formule 1-coureur. Hij reed tussen 1956 en 1961 voor de teams BRM, Vanwall, Ferrari en Cooper. In totaal won hij 6 Grands Prix.

Connaught type B uit 1955
Tijdens zijn studies voor tandarts in 1955 kreeg hij de kans om in een Connaught type B (zie foto) deel te nemen aan de Syracuse Grand Prix. Met deze auto won hij de wedstrijd en versloeg hij het sterke Maseratiteam. Hij vestigde ook een nieuw ronderecord. De Connaught is tentoongesteld in het National Motor Museum te Beaulieu.
