Sysop

Sysop is een afkorting van system operator. In de tijd van de bulletin board systems (BBS) werd de beheerder zo genoemd. Ook mensen die mainframes bedienen worden wel sysops genoemd. Sommige mensen zien het als synoniem voor moderator.
