Smallcreep's Day is het eerste soloalbum van toenmalige Genesisgitarist en -bassist Mike Rutherford. Het album werd in 1979 uitgegeven, en geproduceerd door David Hentschel.

Het titelnummer, dat op de lp de volledige a-kant besloeg, is geïnspireerd op de gelijknamige surrealistische roman van Peter Currell Brown. Hentschel, die het album produceerde, was in hetzelfde jaar ook als producent betrokken bij het Genesis-album Duke. Rutherford liet zich muzikaal bijstaan door onder andere mede-Genesisoprichter Ant Phillips. At the End of the Day was een tijdlang de eindtune van de LP en CD Show / CD Show van de TROS gepresenteerd door Wim van Putten.
