Biografie
McCormack werd geboren in de wijk Brooklyn van New York, en doorliep de high school aan de New Utrecht High School aldaar.
McCormack was van 1967 tot en met 1973 getrouwd met wie zij twee kinderen heeft.
McCormack maakte in 1951 op zesjarige leeftijd haar debuut als actrice in de film Two Gals and a Guy, hierna speelde zij nog in meer dan 130 films en televisieseries. Zij speelde ook tweemaal op Broadway, in 1953 in het toneelstuk Touchstone en in 1954 in het toneelstuk The Bad Seed.
