Onderzoek & Ontwikkeling

Onderzoek & Ontwikkeling, afgekort als O&O, is het proces van proces- en productinnovatie. Een andere naam hiervoor is Speur- en Ontwikkelingswerk, afgekort als S&O. Vaak wordt in het Nederlands de Engelse term Research and Development of de afkorting R&D gebruikt. Officiële stukken van de Europese Unie spreken echter consequent van Onderzoek & Ontwikkeling.
