Natalia Taubina

Natalia Taubina is een Russisch mensenrechtenactivist.

Opleiding

Natalia studeerde af aan het Moscow Engineering Physics Institute in 1993.

Werk

Zij was de directeur bij het Russische Onderzoekscentrum voor Mensenrechten en de Stichting voor Civil Society. Sinds 2004 staat zij aan het hoofd van de Public Verdict Foundation in Moskou, een non-profit organisatie die rechtsbijstand verleent aan slachtoffers van politiegeweld.[1] Zij werd bekroond met de "Human Rights Watch's Alison Des Forges Award" voor buitengewoon activisme. In 2015 ontving zij voor haar werk de Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award.[2][3][4][5]
