MIC (band)

MIC is een christelijke Zuid-Afrikaanse band, in 1990 opgericht door Stephen K. Rothquel. Anno 2006 bestaat de band uit Peter Stainbank, Stephen K. Rothquel en Theran Knighton-fitt. De betekenis van MIC was "Microphone", later veranderde dit in Men In Christ of Monkey's in Church. MIC trad in 1999 op tijdens de EO-Jongerendag.

In de beginjaren bracht MIC vooral dance, keerpunt was het album 'I'm Yours' waar er werd overgegaan op een poppy sound. Enige uitzondering was het album 'Acoustic Sessions' waar vooral zachte gitaarmuziek op kwam.
