Joke (voornaam)

Joke is een Nederlandse meisjesnaam. Het kan een afkorting zijn van Johanna,[1] maar ook afgeleid zijn van de Hebreeuwse naam Jokebed (יוכבד, "JHWH is gewichtigheid / kracht"), een figuur uit de Tenach.
