Jan Steyaert
Jan Steyaert (Ukkel, 21 april 1964) is moleculair bioloog en als gewoon hoogleraar verbonden aan de Vrije Universiteit Brussel[1] en het Vlaams Instituut Biotechnologie waar hij als Wetenschappelijk directeur van het VIB-VUB centrum voor Structurele Biologie[2] samen met Han Remaut een onderzoeksteam leidt van een 100-tal vorsers.
Ook is Steyaert sinds 2019 gemeenteraadslid in Beersel.[3]
