Frans Simons (bisschop)
Frans Simons SVD (Tegelen, 30 juli 1908 – Indore, 28 januari 2002) was een Nederlands bisschop in India.

Simons is in 1932 toegetreden tot de congregatie van Missionarissen van Steyl. Op 15 mei 1952 werd hij de eerste bisschop van het nieuwe bisdom Indore en werd daartoe op 6 augustus gewijd. Voordat het bisdom werd gesticht, bestond Indore van 1935 tot 1951 als Apostolische prefectuur. Simons was tevens een van de concilievaders van het Tweede Vaticaanse Concilie.
Op 26 juni 1971 trok Simons zich terug uit zijn ambt.
