Geschiedenis
De broers werden geboren in de Australische stad Sidney, maar emigreerden in de jaren 90 met hun familie naar de Verenigde Staten. Beiden waren al op jonge leeftijd actief als muzikant en achtergrondzanger bij hun oudere zus Rebecca, beter bekend onder haar artiestennaam Rebecca St. James. In 2007 begonnen ze hun eigen band. Nadat ze in 2012 hun bandnaam veranderden in For King & Country groeide hun populariteit in de VS snel. Hun debuutalbum Crave kwam binnen op plaats 2 in de christelijke muzieklijst van Billboard en bleef 26 weken in de lijst staan. De band ging op tour met Casting Crowns en Jason Castro en maakte opnames met rapper Lecrae. Ze traden op televisie onder andere op in de liveshow van Jimmy Kimmel. hun muziek werd gebruikt in de televisieseries The Vampire Diaries en Drop Dead Diva.
In Nederland stond de band in 2016 en 2018 op de EO-Jongerendag in de Gelredome.
