Anouk Kruithof

Anouk Kruithof (Dordrecht, 2 juni 1981) is een Nederlands beeldend kunstenaar]. Anouk Kruithof studeerde in 2003 af aan de St. Joost academie in Breda. Haar werk werd opgenomen in groepstentoonstellingen van onder andere het Nederlands Fotomuseum in Rotterdam, FOAM en het Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam en het Museum of Modern Art in New York. In 2016 was Kruithof de publieks- winnaar van de Volkskrant Beeldende Kunstprijs en in 2014 won ze de Charlotte Köhler Prijs. Van het International Center for Photography in New York ontving ze in 2012 de Infinity Award. In 2011 won zij de Hyères Photography Jury Grand Prize. Kruithof publiceerde elf kunstenaarsboeken en is oprichter van The Anamorphosis Prize, een internationale prijs voor zelf-uitgegeven fotoboeken. Anouk Kruithof woont en werkt afwisselend in Nederland, Brussel en Boto-Pasi Suriname, en woonde voorheen in Mexico Stad, New York en Berlijn.
