Levensloop
Hij werd beroepshalve familiaal bemiddelaar.
Voor Ecolo was hij van 2000 tot 2010 gemeenteraadslid van Sint-Joost-ten-Node, een functie die hij sinds 2012 opnieuw uitoefent. Mouhssin was van 2009 tot 2014 tevens lid van het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Parlement. In 2014 werd hij niet herkozen.
Sinds 2019 is hij opnieuw Brussels parlementslid.
