Zero Gravity (Rebirth and Evolution)

Zero Gravity (Rebirth and Evolution) is the debut studio album by Italian symphonic power metal band Turilli / Lione Rhapsody. It was released on July 5, 2019 via Nuclear Blast.[2][3] The album was funded by a crowdfunding campaign that the band had started on Indiegogo.[4]

Unlike Rhapsody of Fire albums, which feature high fantasy narratives, Zero Gravity is not a concept album and its lyrics deals with scientifical, spiritual and philosophical themes. Both Lione and Turilli say that the album represents a new artistic view of the band (hence the Rebirth and Evolution subtitle), by modernizing their sound without losing the original essence of Rhapsody's music.

The album received very positive reviews from critics and fans alike, praising the musicianship, the band's performance, lyrics and production. Many compared Zero Gravity with Rhapsody of Fire's twelfth album, The Eighth Mountain, which was released earlier the same year, with the general consensus that Turilli and Lione's album surpassed the release of the original band.
