York County Sheriff's Office (South Carolina)

The York County Sheriff’s Office is the primary law enforcement agency in York County, South Carolina. It is headed by Sheriff Kevin Tolson.

Location

The headquarters of the York County Sheriff's Office is currently located at the Moss Justice Center on York Highway in York, South Carolina.[1]

Organization

The office includes several divisions:

  • Administrative Services
  • Criminal Investigation Services
  • Detention Division, which runs the 565-bed county jail
  • Support Services, which includes a police dog unit and a Lake Enforcement Unit equipped with three boats.
