Yerington Municipal Airport

Yerington Municipal Airport (IATA: EYR, FAA LID: O43) is a city-owned, public-use airport located one nautical mile (2 km) north of the central business district of Yerington, in Lyon County, Nevada, United States.[1] The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a general aviation facility.[2]

Yerington Municipal Airport covers an area of 101 acres (41 ha) at an elevation of 4,382 feet (1,336 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 1/19 with an asphalt surface measuring 5,814 by 75 feet (1,772 x 23 m).[1]

For the 12-month period ending June 30, 2009, the airport had 25,900 aircraft operations, an average of 70 per day: 99% general aviation, 1% military, and <1% air taxi. At that time 44 aircraft were based here: 86% single-engine and 14% multi-engine.[1]
