Career

Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, William Moore Jr. would later be known for his singing.[6] His style garnered Moore attention from several national record labels.[7] At 12 years old, Moore signed with Midwest recording label, gaining regional fame with the group "Baby Gangstas". After receiving his college degree from Ole Miss, Moore started his music career by signing with Universal Music Group as a hip hop artist where he had hits such as "Roll With Me" from the album Enter The Life of Suella.[6]

After his deal ended at Universal Music, Willie achieved success as an independent artist with popular hit singles, "4 Walls", "Lay Your Body Down" and "Designer Love". After being contacted by Warner Bros. Records, Moore decided to pursue a career as an R&B artist, and would later release the single "Good Thang", paying homage to women.[8]

In March 2015, Willie Moore Jr. would go on to host The Nightly Spirit with Willie Moore Jr.[9] Moore currently hosts the radio show The Willie Moore Jr. Show weekdays from 3pm-7pm for Reach Media & Atlanta's Praise 102.5.[10]
