Whihala Beach County Park
Whihala Beach County Park is a park in Whiting, Indiana, United States. It is a public beach with life guards.[1][2] The beach was previously named Whiting Beach.[3]
History
In the summer of 1966, local health commissioners found "severe" problems. The water showed an extremely high level of coliform and the beach was temporarily closed.[3]
