"We Are One" (Aae Khuda) is a global collaboration song produced by Kashan Admani in Dream Station Productions. This song features 40 musicians from 7 countries all coming together to give a message of hope[1] during Covid-19 pandemic.[2][3][4]

"We Are One" features 40 musicians[5] including Grammy Award winners, from 7 countries.[6][7] Grammy winning violinist Charlie Bisharat, Grammy Nominee Simon Phillips (drummer), bassist Stuart Hamm, percussionist Gumbi Ortiz,[8] and drummer Taylor Simpson feature in the song from the United States.[9] Other artists include guitarist, composer, and record producer Roman Miroshnichenko[10] from Russia, singer-songwriter Dr. Palash Sen[11] of Euphoria (Indian band) from India, actress and dancer Luiza Prochet from Brazil, Matt Laurent from Canada, and singer-songwriter Lili Caseley[12] from the United Kingdom.

Motive

Guitarist, composer, and producer Kashan Admani came up with the idea to create a song that would be a united prayer, featuring singers and musicians from across the world, writes The Express Tribune.[15] The song is aimed at inspiring hope[16][17] and give a message of togetherness to the global population affected by COVID-19.[18][19][11] "The idea was to talk about global unity in fighting the pandemic and praying to God for help. That's the reason why it's called 'We Are One, Aae Khuda'", the producer Kashan Admani said in an interview to Arab News.[20] In another statement made for Gulf News, Kashan Admani said, “The idea was to… show that humanity is alive and united in the fight against COVID-19.[21]

The Urdu poetry of 'Aae Khuda' is written by Sabir Zafar while the English poetry is written by Babar Sheikh and in the song, a total of 40 musicians, singers and artists from 7 countries have lent their voices and played instruments in the song.[22][23]
