It was recorded at Full Force Studios with producer Joe Cincotta. Real-Life Death was released digitally and sold at the band's live concert shows on October 5, 2013 and was released in stores November 5, 2013.[5]

The band disbanded in 2013, but did not announce it until 2015.

In August 2018, it was announced that vocalist Don Campan and guitarist Michael Mayo along with an entirely new lineup would reform the band. The band has confirmed that they are currently writing new music and will be touring extensively.
