Vijay Kumar Ahluwalia

Lt General ( Dr) Vijay Kumar Ahluwalia PVSM, AVSM**, YSM, VSM, was a lieutenant-general of the Indian Army who last served as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command. [1] A keen army aviator ( helicopter pilot) and a pioneer on Bofors guns, he has held important positions during his Military career. Post retirement as GOC-in-C, he had served as a Member, Armed Forces Tribunal for four years. Currently, he is the Director of a think tank, "Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS)", Delhi. Besides a number of articles and essays on strategic affairs, he authored a book, " Red Revolution 2020 and Beyond; Strategic Challenges to Resolve Naxalism." [2]
