Vidalia (fruit fly)
Vidalia is a genus of tephritid or fruit flies in the family Tephritidae.[1][2][3] Vidalia are commonly found distributed from the Eastern Palearctic to Oriental and Australasian. They breed in the fruits of Schefflera subulata, a member of Araliaceace, in West Malaysia (Aluja, Martin, and Allen L. Norrbom. Fruit Flies (Tephritidae): Phylogeny and Evolution of Behavior.
