History

The club, founded in 1954, is currently playing in the Regional 2 Pays de la Loire, the seventh tier in the French football league system, having suffered administrative relegation from the third-tier Championnat National in 2015[2] and from the fifth-tier Championnat National 3 in 2018[3] both for financial reasons.

One of the club's players, Richmond Forson, was called up to represent Togo at the 2006 World Cup.
