V. D. Satheesan

V.D. Satheesan is a Member of Kerala Legislative Assembly from Parur constituency, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. Currently, he is one of the six vice presidents of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee.

Early life

He was born in varapuzha, Ernakulam District, Kerala, India on 31 May 1964 to K. Dhamodara Menon and V. Vilasini Amma.[2] His daughter's name is Unnimaya.

Education

He completed his primary education from Panangad High School. He obtained his graduation from Sacred Heart College, Thevara, Ernakulam and Post Graduation from Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Ernakulam.[3] He then completed his LL.B from Trivandrum Kerala Law Academy Law College and LL.M from Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. For a brief period he practised in Kerala High Court.[4]

Career

He was elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly in 2001 when he was practicing as an Advocate in Kerala High Court. He is currently representing Paravur State Assembly Constituency in 14th Kerala legislative assembly.[5]
